Frequently asked questions

›What size is a Singapore Visa photo?

It is a digital photo with no set print size. There is no official head-size number; we frame the head at 60%–78% of the photo height so the head and shoulders are clearly visible. Digital file: JPEG, up to 8 MB. pixtidy exports 400×514 pixels, inside the official limits.

›What are the Singapore visa photo requirements?

ICA asks for a recent colour photo (taken within the last three months) of 400 × 514 pixels for online uploads, up to 8 MB, showing your full face on a white background, without headgear unless you wear it habitually for religious or racial customs and it does not hide your face. The photo must not be altered or enhanced.

›Can I take my Singapore visa photo with my phone?

Yes. ICA recommends ID-photo apps and allows resizing in photo software, but advises against selfies: ask someone to take the photo for you. Upload it here and we crop it to 400 × 514 pixels and check it.

›How recent must my Singapore visa photo be?

ICA requires your Singapore visa photo to have been taken within the last three months.

›Why do photos get rejected?

The most common reasons are: head too small or too large, shadows on the face or background, wrong background colour, glasses or glare, a tilted head, blur, and photos edited with filters or AI. Our checker tests each of these before you pay.

›Do you edit or retouch my face?

No. Officials reject photos altered with filters or AI, so we only crop, level and resize. We never change your face or replace the background.

›Is my photo uploaded to your servers?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device and we never store it.

›What if my photo is rejected?

If an official rejects a photo our checker marked as passing, email support@pixtidy.com and we refund you in full.
