Frequently asked questions

›What size is a Taiwan Passport photo?

Print size 35×45 mm. The head, measured from chin to top of hair, must be 71%–80% of the photo height (32–36 mm of 45 mm, which BOCA describes as the face taking up 70–80% of the photo). pixtidy exports 827×1063 pixels.

›What are the Taiwan passport photo requirements?

Two identical colour photos, 35 × 45 mm, taken within the last six months: head and top of the shoulders, head 32–36 mm from chin to crown and centred, on a plain white background with uniform lighting and no shadows, facing forward with a neutral expression and mouth closed, no hat.

›Can I wear glasses in my Taiwan passport photo?

Yes, if your eyes are clearly visible with no reflection or glare on the lenses. BOCA asks you to avoid tinted glasses (exceptions may be made for the visually impaired).

›Can I take my Taiwan passport photo myself?

BOCA's guidelines describe how to take it: camera lens at eye level, about 1.2 m (at least 1 m) from your face, even white background, correct white balance. Upload it here and we crop it to 35 × 45 mm and check it.

›Why do photos get rejected?

The most common reasons are: head too small or too large, shadows on the face or background, wrong background colour, glare or tinted lenses on glasses, a tilted head, blur, and photos edited with filters or AI. Our checker tests each of these before you pay.

›Do you edit or retouch my face?

No. Officials reject photos altered with filters or AI, so we only crop, level and resize. We never change your face or replace the background.

›Is my photo uploaded to your servers?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device and we never store it.

›What if my photo is rejected?

If an official rejects a photo our checker marked as passing, email support@pixtidy.com and we refund you in full.
