Yes, if the lenses are clear (not tinted), there are no reflections or shadows from them, and the frames do not cover any part of your eyes. Glasses are not required in the photo.

›Can I use a photo taken with my own camera or phone?

The Questura's guidance accepts photos taken with a digital camera if they are high quality, in colour and printed on quality photo paper. The passport office's software checks every photo against European parameters when you apply.

›Why do photos get rejected?

The most common reasons are: head too small or too large, shadows on the face or background, wrong background colour, glare or tinted lenses on glasses, a tilted head, blur, and photos edited with filters or AI. Our checker tests each of these before you pay.

›Do you edit or retouch my face?

No. Officials reject photos altered with filters or AI, so we only crop, level and resize. We never change your face or replace the background.

›Is my photo uploaded to your servers?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device and we never store it.

›What if my photo is rejected?

If an official rejects a photo our checker marked as passing, email support@pixtidy.com and we refund you in full.
