Thai e-Visa photo requirements (head 70–80% of the photo)
The official Thai e-Visa system (thaievisa.go.th) asks for a JPG up to 3 MB and at least 160 pixels tall, in which the head takes up 70–80% of the photo, on a plain light-coloured background. Your eyes must not be covered by sunglasses, tinted lenses, frames or hair, and there should be no glare.
Official requirements
File: JPG or JPEG, maximum 3 MB; image height at least 160 pixels. Head: 70–80% of the photo. Background: plain and light-coloured.
Eyes clearly visible — no sunglasses, tinted lenses, heavy frames or hair across the eyes, and no reflections on glasses. The site runs an automatic photo check when you upload.
The most common mistake
Most rejected photos show too much of the body: at 70–80% the head fills most of the frame, closer than a typical passport photo. Crop tightly around the head and a little of the shoulders.
Making one
Take the photo against a light, plain wall in even light. pixtidy's Thai e-Visa photo maker crops so the head fills 70–80% of the frame, checks background and lighting, and exports a JPG under 3 MB.
